Battery effluent
Wastewater generated from battery manufacturing unit comes from different sources such as processes wash down plate curing, product rinsing, cooling, equipment, and floor area washing, laboratory washing. The pollutant contents includes cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, zinc, nickel, oil and grease, etc.
A lot of different chemicals are required for the treatment of this effluent in conventional treatment. The treatment cost and is huge and handling the sludge also is a problem.
But in REECON Aewar process, after Ph adjustment, the effluent is sent to the AEWAR reactor. The processed effluent is allowed to settle down and the clear water is filtered to remove the final traces of suspended impurities. The separated sludge is allowed to dry in a sludge bed.
In this case, there is no other chemical addition
Sludge volume very minimal
Process operation is simple and easy.
After treatment, it was found that all the parameters of the treated were within the permissible limit. The treated water is used for process application and gardening. This is saving a lot of fresh / portable water intake of the industry.
The photos show the modular treatment plant in operation at the customer's place.
